Every Field & Foot shoe features our exclusive three-layer support system, anchored by the revolutionary Adaptive Fit Core technology. This patented system dynamically flexes with each step to cradle and protect your heels, offering next-generation foot health.

Thousands of positive customer reviews attest that Field & Foot delivers tangible pain relief. A significant majority of wearers report noticeable improvement in their symptoms, often within a short period of consistent use. This is Comfort, Realized.

Your very first step in a new pair of Field & Foot shoes is just the beginning. Our advanced support system works with your feet over time. For the best adaptation, we suggest wearing your new shoes for short periods (1-2 hours daily) during the first week, allowing your feet to acclimate to the superior, customized support.

  • What is the Adaptive Fit Core?
This is our patented heel-cradling technology, engineered to relieve pressure and heel pain. It uniquely flexes with your gait to hug your heels. Its design helps protect the foot’s natural cushioning system for lasting comfort.
  • What is the Premium Comfort Cloud?
This is our premium, lightweight foam cushioning built into every pair. It provides exceptional shock absorption for all-day comfort and relief.
  • What is the Ultimate Support Insole?
Unlike standard inserts, our insole is crafted from advanced, dual-density foam for superior arch support. It gradually molds to your foot’s unique contours for personalized, ergonomic cushioning.
  • Do you have size guides?
Absolutely. On every product page, you’ll find a “Find Your Size” tool above the size selector. Our detailed guides will help you confidently choose the correct size and width for your perfect fit.
  • What do your fit notes mean?
To assist you, we provide specific fit notes on certain styles based on customer feedback:
    • Fits 1/2 Size Small: We recommend ordering a half size up from your usual size.
    • Fits 1/2 Size Large: We recommend ordering a half size down from your usual size.
    • Fits True to Size: The style corresponds to your standard size.
Our goal is to make online shoe shopping simple and successful. For personalized fitting advice, please contact our support team.
  • How do I find my correct Field & Foot size?
Shoe fit involves many factors beyond simple length, like volume and foot shape. We design our shoes to fit as true to size as possible. We recommend starting with your most commonly worn size. You may also consider ordering two sizes to find the best fit. Please note, we cannot provide accurate sizing based solely on foot tracings or measurements in inches/centimeters.
  • Do you offer waterproof shoes?
Yes. Our collection includes waterproof sneakers and boots designed with advanced materials to keep your feet dry in various conditions. We also offer protective sprays for our leather styles.
  • Do you offer anti-slip shoes?
Yes. Select models in our lineup feature high-grade, slip-resistant rubber outsoles engineered and tested to meet recognized safety standards for sure-footed traction.
  • Do your shoes have non-marking soles?
All Field & Foot shoes feature non-marking rubber outsoles.
  • Do you offer wide-width shoes?
Yes, many of our styles are available in both standard and wide widths to accommodate different foot shapes. You can use the width filter while shopping to see available options.
  • Which styles have a roomy toe box?
Every Field & Foot shoe is designed with a spacious toe area to allow your toes to lay flat naturally. For extra room, consider our ATOM, QUANTUM 2, KINETIC 2, or QUEST models.
  • Do your shoes have good arch support?
Your search ends here. Every Field & Foot shoe—sneakers, sandals, and boots—is built with our triple-layer technology, featuring dedicated arch support and our Adaptive Fit Core.
  • What shoes are best for overpronation or supination?
Overpronation (ankle rolling inward) and supination (ankle rolling outward) can be helped with supportive footwear. While all our styles offer excellent support, our QUANTUM 2 and ATOM models provide enhanced lateral stability to promote better alignment and reduce related discomfort.
  • Which shoes are best for my specific foot pain?
Since every Field & Foot shoe includes the Adaptive Fit Core, superior arch support, and shock-absorbing cushioning, most styles can help alleviate various types of foot pain. To find your ideal match, take our online Shoe Finder Quiz and select your specific condition.
  • Which shoes are best for my activity or job?
We offer styles designed for a wide range of activities and professions. You can browse by activity on our homepage at fieldandfoot.com or take our Shoe Finder Quiz and select your lifestyle or career for personalized recommendations.
  • Why are my shoes squeaking?
Squeaking is most often caused by moisture. Our insoles are moisture-wicking, but try these tips:
    • Air dry the insoles (remove them from the shoes) between wears.
    • Ensure the insole is properly centered on the footbed.
    • If squeaking persists, a fresh pair of insoles often resolves it.
If these steps don’t help, there may be a rare manufacturer’s defect. In such cases, please contact our support team or refer to our warranty policy for assistance.
  • Why does the midsole foam have wrinkles?
Some wrinkles in the midsole are a natural result of our Adaptive Fit Core technology flexing and moving to cup your heel. In high-performance styles, the technology is placed closer to the edge for a more responsive feel, which can sometimes make surface wrinkles more visible. This is part of the normal function and wear of the dynamic foam.
  • Can I use my own custom orthotics?
Orthotics with a rounded heel shape fit best with our deep, anatomical heel cup. However, many customers find the built-in three-part support system so effective that they no longer need their custom orthotics. If you use your own, ensure they are not squared off at the heel, as they may not sit properly in the footbed.
  • Do you sell replacement laces?
We do not currently offer replacement laces for sale.
  • Where are Field & Foot shoes designed and made?
Field & Foot shoes are designed with expertise in the USA and manufactured in partner factories abroad. Our partners are carefully selected and must adhere to our stringent standards for quality, materials, and ethical production practices.
  • Do you offer vegan shoes?
Yes. Our QUANTUM 2, FLEX Via, and ATOM collections are made using 100% vegan materials.
  • Do your shoes contain latex or formaldehyde?
It is highly unlikely any of our shoes contain latex, but we cannot guarantee they are 100% latex-free due to complex global supply chains. Regarding formaldehyde, industry-standard adhesives are used in manufacturing, and while it may be part of some processes, we cannot guarantee shoes are completely formaldehyde-free.
  • How long do Field & Foot shoes last?
With proper care, the average customer enjoys their shoes for over a year. A shoe’s lifespan depends on frequency of use, terrain, and individual gait. Podiatrists generally recommend replacing any shoe after 350-500 miles of wear. We stand by our product quality with a limited warranty against manufacturer defects. See our full Warranty Policy for details.
  • How much do the shoes weigh?
The exact weight for each specific shoe style is listed on its product page on fieldandfoot.com.
  • What is heel-to-toe drop and why does it matter?
Heel drop is the height difference (in millimeters) between the heel and forefoot of a shoe. It affects gait biomechanics and muscle engagement. A lower drop can promote a more natural foot strike but may require adaptation, while a higher drop can offer more cushioning at heel strike. Our designs consider these factors to support healthy movement.
  • How are Field & Foot shoes orthopedic?
We create the healthiest shoes by integrating advanced technology with quality materials. Each pair provides a complete orthopedic solution—no need for extra inserts. Our proven Adaptive Fit Core technology is at the heart of delivering effective pain relief and support, all in styles that look great.
  • Should I wear Field & Foot’s insoles or my own orthotics?
We highly recommend using the included Ultimate Support Insole, as all shoe components are engineered to work together. Many find our built-in system provides exceptional support. If you prefer your orthotics, please ensure they have a rounded heel for proper fit, as noted above.
  • Are your technologies patented?
Yes. Our foundational Adaptive Fit Core technology is protected by patents. We also hold additional design and utility patents, including on specific models like our anti-slip designs. Innovation is core to our mission of creating the healthiest, most comfortable footwear.
  • How do I care for my shoes?
Using high-quality materials requires proper care to extend your shoes’ life. For the best cleaning and maintenance instructions tailored to your specific shoe’s materials, please visit the product care section on fieldandfoot.com.
